BQSL. Qualifications designed to match employers needs.
Our starting point is not
the academic content of
a specialism…we have a course structure that fully aligns with the real world jobs that need filling.
We are different to other awarding bodies.
It begins with how we develop our curricula. Our starting point is not the academic content of a specialism. Instead, we research the roles recruiters are currently advertising for.
We study Job Descriptions and Person Specifications. Then, we speak to real employers, recruitment consultants and sector skills experts and get their perspective.
By the end of this process, we have a course structure that fully aligns with the real world jobs that need filling.
We create exceptional content. We’re not talking tired old slides based on 1980s Harvard academics. We create content that will get the message across in a format and style the modern learner needs. And this is only a small part of the package. We want our learners to get busy doing, so offer lots of practical challenges, case studies, role play ideas, debate topics and more.
This means our study centres don’t need to spend money and time developing materials. All they need to do is find the inspiring and engaging tutors to bring our materials to life.
We may well be the first awarding body that provides a talent portal for learners to promote themselves on. ‘Future Leadership Academy’ is just that – an opportunity for BQSL learners to pitch their talents to employers, recruiters and more.
